CITY OF HUBBARD MAGNOLIA JUNCTION SINGLE FAMILY AFFORDABLE RENTAL PROGRAM

The City of Hubbard was awarded CDBG-DR funding for 2015 Flood Recovery to implement a housing project to create new affordable rental housing units on a city-owned site in Hubbard, Texas. This development is now known as Magnolia Junction.

Magnolia Junction consists of five standalone, three-bedroom, two-bath single-family homes, each offering 1,112 square feet of living space and a 45 square foot porch. One unit is fully ADA accessible, and one unit is accessible to those with auditory and visual impairments.

Each home has its own designated driveway extending from SW 1st Street. A portion of the units were rented at rates affordable to low-to-moderate income families earning 80% or below of the area median family income, as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Magnolia Junction was developed by the City of Hubbard using flood disaster recovery funds provided as a grant through the Texas General Land Office and operated by the Hubbard Housing Authority.

Five loaves.

Two fish.

Whatever you have, it is ENOUGH. When you offer what you have, small gifts become magnified.

What do we do? We brand, market, design, develop and create beautiful things.

We believe that strength is for service, not status.

Our marketing and public relations experience spans from American Quarter Horses to Texas Country Music, from sushi to pizzas, and city government to humane societies. We create concepts, bring them to life through graphic design, and then put them in motion through print, online and social mediums.
